SCIENTIST

 

The majority of Nathan’s academic career centered on research examining the marine microbiome and its effects on Earth’s climate and biogeochemistry. He specialized in microbial genomics, investigating the genetic controls that led to large-scale ecosystem changes. 

Since leaving academia, his passion to scale equitable environmental solutions has led him to broaden his research lens to include the social and behavioral sciences.
